84447 Jeffkanipe

84447 Jeffkanipe (provisional designation: 2002 TU240) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by the Near Earth Asteroid Tracking program near Haleakalā on the Hawaiian island of Maui on October 6, 2002. It is named after Jeff Kanipe, an American science writer who found a 1964 precovery image of this minor planet in the Atlas of Peculiar Galaxies.
